Preventive Health Care
Preventative care can be addressed in many forms. Your pet’s health should be monitored regularly by your veterinarian and in some cases through various health screenings. Based on your veterinarian’s recommendations we will tailor a care plan for your pet’s individual needs.
Why is it important to do preventative health screenings? Many health conditions are treatable if found in time. Our pets have natural stoic behavior due to survival instincts. In many cases it is difficult to tell the degree of illness or if there is any illness at all. By practicing preventative health screenings such as annual or bi-annual bloodwork, heartworm testing or fecal examinations, we can minimize the risk of severe health problems and promote a long, healthy, and happy life for your pet.
